"Best Depression Ever"
The Esq can now be seen in print and online.
Our Party Crasher write-up in The Stranger is pretty sweet; mayjuh props to its' author, Aaron Pickus, who managed to make us sound almost cool while recognizing the militant precision with which I organize my refrigerator magnets. I was also very pleased that 826Seattle got a mention, as did Bryn's amazing homemade Key lime pie. Monica over at the Big Blog even got outed, though she was kind of undercover/off the clock; we had a good laugh over it last night at Zeitgeist coffee, which is a really cool space in Pioneer Square. If you like crackheads, the homeless, and the dangerous possibility of getting shot on a random Thursday night, check it out at your peril.
Want to read the article? Get properly depressed, here.
(P.S. The Esq is a doll. I've decided he's going to wear suits and fedoras for the rest of his days.)

Yay! I got mentioned too!
They said "Flappers". I was a flapper. I was mentioned in the Strnager!
WOOT!
I'm unfamiliar with The Strnager, but yes, you were mentioned in The Stranger. :p
You were also the most flappery of the flappers! So they must have been talking about you.
Sad I couldn't make it, but at least Bryn and his tart (it was NOT a pie!) got an honorable mention. And he made it again on Tuesday when you guys came over anyhow. Justin should have worn his suit and fedora!
I only had a bite at the party, so I was WAY HAPPIER when he made it again--it was so freaking good. Especially with that HHwhip cream, what WAS that? That shit was amazing.
This came up before the field trip this morning - Toffer and Jen had seen the article, and were wondering.
Luckily, I had all the answers.
Scott, you're like the 826 ambassador for social gatherings!
rad.
YOU'RE rad. :) I miss you!
